Witryna3 lip 2024 · I left work for lunch and turned ac on. When I parked, and shut off engine, fast-tempo ticking, almost as though behind the glove box. Can also hear it when out of the car. It went on for a while ,then stopped. When I left lunch and came back to office, the noise happened while I was driving UNLESS a/c was on. WitrynaYou most likely have a bad HVAC blend door actuator. When they fail, the gears over run themselfs and give you that kind of noise. What you can do is remove the glove box liner and see if you can get your hand onto the actuator and you should be able to feel the clicking through the body if that is where it's coming from.
