WebI was (am) hypersensitive emotionally and to pain, but in terms of the other senses I'm more hyposensitive. That being said, there were certain things I disliked - mostly specific words. If I needed to refer to certain objects I would pretend to have forgotten the word to get the other person to say it and say "yeah, that" and then carry on with the sentence. WebBeing hyposensitive to smell means that you may crave certain smells and/or strong smells. Again this can affect a person diet as they may avoid bland smelling foods. Someone may crave and seek out smells that are inappropriate or dangerous. A person who is sensory seeking may crave the smell of faeces for example.
